The short version: HoundPal keeps your information on your own device. ScienceFits doesn’t collect, see, or sell your bills, balances, or budget.
HoundPal™ is made by ScienceFits (“we”). This policy covers the HoundPal website at houndpal.com and the HoundPal app.
The bills, cards, balances, income, spending, and savings goals you enter are saved only in your web browser’s storage on your device. They are not sent to ScienceFits. There are no HoundPal accounts or sign-ups.
Because your information lives on your device, clearing your browser’s history or website data can erase it. The “Save a backup copy” button saves a file to your device so you can restore it later. That file stays with you unless you choose to share it.
When you tap “Add reminders to my calendar,” HoundPal creates a calendar file on your device and hands it to your calendar app. It is not sent to ScienceFits.
HoundPal links to free guides on government websites, such as ConsumerFinance.gov, FDIC.gov, and Investor.gov. Those sites have their own privacy policies.

HoundPal is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the effective date above.
